General FAQ
First, it's important to make sure you are logging in to the correct app.
For the nursing flash cards, you will use the Straight A Nursing app.
For programs such as Crucial Concepts Bootcamp and Med Surg Solution, you will use the course platform app - the course platform is Kajabi.
Since these are two different platforms, they have two separate logins.
If you have forgotten your password, you can get a PW reset through the apps. Hope that helps!
This one is easy! Just use the search bar in the top right 🙂 Type in the topic or keyword you are searching for and press enter. If we have an article or podcast episode covering that topic, it will show up in the search results.
The easiest way to find specific podcast episodes is to enter the topic into the SEARCH bar located in the top right of every page.
Alternatively, you can also choose PODCAST from the navigation menu and use the drop-down to select broad categories such as "pediatrics" or "fundamentals."
First of all, confirm you're checking the same email address you used to register. I don't know about you, but I have about 5 different email addresses!
If you are brand new to my online programs, you may have been prompted to create a password at checkout. Use those credentials to log in at https://learn.straightanursingstudent.com/login
If you did not create a PW at checkout, please check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from Straight A Nursing.
If you can't locate that email, or you've forgotten your password. No worries!
Simply go to the login page and click on the "forgot password" link.

Usually, this is because the email landed in your spam or promotions folder. Check there first and then reach out to us at support@straightanursingstudent.com if you cannot locate it.

PayPal holds payments for various reasons, all of which are outside of our control. If you are concerned about a payment you made through PayPal that is still pending, you need to reach out to PayPal.
Once the transaction completes, your enrollment will be finalized. Because of the delay, you may not have been prompted to create a password.
You can try logging in at https://learn.straightanursingstudent.com/login (using the "forgot password" link), or send an email to us so we can add you manually. Please supply the email address you enrolled with.

All Straight A Nursing programs can be accessed through a single login here.
If you don't remember your password, no problem! Just click "forgot password" to get a reset link sent to you.

Resource sheets and workbooks are available in the downloads area of your online program.
For Med Surg Solution, Crucial Concepts Bootcamp, 5-Day Challenge, and Confident Calculations, the download area is in the right sidebar. Workbooks that pertain to an entire course or module are located in the first lesson. Specific resource sheets related to individual lessons are included with those lessons.
For Fast Pharmacology, downloads are located above the text.
First, ensure the coupon code hasn't expired.
If you are using a coupon code that should be valid, the most likely problem is that the page has cached a prior version. Please try...

The developers are aware of this glitch and are working to fix it. In the meantime, you can try using an incognito browser or simply using a different email address.
Once you create your new account, just send us an email and we will happily merge the two to your preferred email address.

We gave Bootcamp a big facelift in November, 2021 so if you originally enrolled prior to that date, the old Bootcamp has been replaced.
Click on MY LIBRARY in the upper right corner to be taken to your new and improved Crucial Concepts Bootcamp.

We recommend giving yourself two weeks to get through the lessons comfortably...after all, I'm pretty sure you have a lot going on in your life and it's good to let the lessons "settle in" a bit before you jump to the next one.
However, if you are short on time, there are alternate pathways provided once you're inside the course. You'll see these listed in the Bootcamp Roadmap document.
Once nursing school starts it's "game-on!" For now, take your time and enjoy learning how to make the successful transition from pre-nursing to nursing student!
You can start Bootcamp at any time and proceed at your own pace. You can also re-take the course as many times as you like for the duration of your enrollment!
We do, however, STRONGLY encourage you to complete the entire course before nursing school begins in order to get the most benefit.
Absolutely! Many students have enrolled between semesters to solidify core concepts and "re-set" after a challenging course. Additionally, students find that it's beneficial to go through Bootcamp before the start of every semester.

Yes! Everything in Confident Calculations is in Module 5 of Crucial Concepts Bootcamp.
If you self-registered, you have unlimited access to the programs.
If the program was purchased for you by your school, you have access for two years.
Because Bootcamp is already priced with a nursing student's budget in mind, it does not go on sale. It's pretty much always on sale 🙂
Straight A Nursing online programs are based in core nursing knowledge, and much of this translates around the globe. Though scope of practice can vary, some things stay the same...pathophysiology, signs/symptoms, dosage math, etc...
Hi there! If you're writing about one of your Crucial Concepts Bootcamp bonuses, please reach back out and let us know which one you are referring to so we can get you sorted.
If you are inquiring about how to get the Med Surg Study Guide ("social share" bonus), those instructions are included in your welcome email. Please check your spam and promotions folders for that email.
If you're simply awaiting delivery of your bonus, we'll get it out to you within two business days (but usually a lot faster!).
While CCB is intended to prep you for nursing school specifically, there are several modules that you could begin utilizing right away to help you with your prerequisite classes. These include:
- Module 6 - taking notes, study tactics
- Module 8 - key physiology review
- Module 9 - organization tips
- Module 10 - writing tutorials
Because program materials are delivered immediately at the time of purchase and there is no way for digital items to be returned, we are unable to provide refunds.

Study Sesh FAQ

First, check your email (spam and promotions folders, too!) for a message containing this link. If you can't locate it, no problem!
- Log into your online account and click on MY LIBRARY.
- Go to Study Sesh Podcast
- Right click on the little blue podcast icon in the top yellow area
- Copy the link address (this copies the unique URL)
- If you're not on your mobile device, send this URL code to your mobile device (an easy way to do this is to email it to yourself).
- Follow the instructions for adding it to your podcast player. If you need to view these instructions go to Study Sesh Accessories and view the instructions for adding Study Sesh to Apple Podcasts or YouTube Music.
For a video walking you through this process of manually getting the unique URL, go to Study Sesh Accessories and view the video "Getting Started with Study Sesh."
At minute 7:47, I specifically tell you how to get the unique URL that you'll add into the podcast player. You'll also see easy instructions for adding the podcast to Apple Podcasts and YouTube Music.

If you are trying to access the Study Sesh with the red graphic, that version has been retired. We upgraded Study Sesh in October 2021, but you must have missed the many emails and announcements we made...no worries! We got you!
Please go to the login page and click on the "forgot password" link so you can reset your password and log in.
If you are enrolled in one of my other online programs such as Bootcamp, then it is the same login/password.
Then, start by watching "Getting Started with Study Sesh" to learn everything you need to know to add the new Study Sesh to your podcast player. It's easy, I promise!

The Straight A Nursing app was design to make things easier for you, which is why it comes loaded with over 6,000 flashcards that are study ready!
Yes! We are hard at work on adding key topics. If you have a specific request, we'd love to hear it! Please send an email to support@straightanursingstudent.com to let us know what you'd like to see.
If your payment fails, you'll retain access to the app, but will not have access to premium cards or functions. Once your payment is up-to-date, you will regain access to the premium version.
Logging in each time protects your information and keeps your account secure.
You can view the cards in offline mode, but you'll need an internet connection in order to select GOT IT or MISSED IT, see scores, and upgrades.
The cards will advance on their own after you select "GOT IT" or "MISSED IT." A simple swipe left or right will also advance you forward to the next card or take you back to the previous card.
We do not provide refunds since the digital item is provided immediately and you can preview the app by using the lite version. Of course, you can cancel at any time by accessing your profile from the side menu.
There are three ways to upgrade your account and gain access to over 6,000 flashcards and the ability to repeat missed questions.
1) Click on any slide deck that has a lock icon
2) Click on UPGRADE in the side menu
3) Click on UPGRADE from the score screen
When you sign in using Facebook sign in, Google sign in, or Apple sign in, the app uses your credentials from those platforms to grant access. If you have signed up manually (by using an email address and password that you created), you can change your password by accessing your profile or by clicking the FORGOT PASSWORD link on the login screen.
Sorry, we don't have that functionality at this time.

Occasionally, your school will follow different parameters or reference ranges. Always refer to your institution's practices. For our full disclosure statement, visit the Terms and Conditions page in this app (available in the menu bar).
The free version of the app includes sample cards in each category. The premium version is available through a low monthly subscription or annual subscription which grants you access to all cards in all categories and enables you to repeat missed cards.
Straight A Nursing is a website committed to helping nursing students succeeded. You can learn more by visiting www.straightanursingstudent.com or by checking out the RESOURCES section in this app.
Subscriptions are managed through the Google Play Store and your Apple subscriptions (go to setting, click on your name, then subscriptions). If you wish to fully delete your account, you can do that from your profile inside the app.
If you are using an Android device it is possible to override the app's font settings by using custom fonts or larger font sizes. Check your settings and ensure they are not altered. If you are on Apple iOS or using an Android device without custom font sizes, please send a screenshot of the card in question to support@straightanursingstudent.com. It's possible we need to shorten the length of the text. Thank you!
The app is on a completely separate platform, so it will require its own login credentials.
